Last updated: 3 October 2026

1. Who we are

ARMBAR: Arm Wrestling Career Simulator ("ARMBAR", "the game") is published by Ali Dinch, an individual in New South Wales, Australia, who publishes games under the name sLumLake simuLations ("we", "us").

This policy explains what information the game handles, why, and what choices you have. It applies to the ARMBAR app on Android.

2. The short version

3. What the game handles

3.1 Playing as a guest

Your careers (your puller, stats, in-game money, gems, schedule and settings) are saved on your device only. We never receive them. Uninstalling the game or clearing its data deletes them.

3.2 If you sign in (optional)

If you sign in with Google or with an email address and password, these are stored with our service provider, Google Firebase:

Information Why
Email address, display name and a user id To recognize your account when you sign in
A password, if you sign in by email (stored by Firebase in protected form; we cannot read it) To sign you in
Your saved careers (up to three save slots) To restore them on another device or after a reinstall

3.3 Purchases

In-app purchases are paid for through Google Play. We never see or store your card or payment details.

To confirm what you have bought and to restore purchases on a new device, our service provider RevenueCat receives a user id (an anonymous one for guests; your account's user id if you are signed in), your purchase receipts and history for ARMBAR, your device platform and your country or region as reported by the store.

3.4 Names you type

The names you give your puller are checked on your device against a list of blocked words. They are not shown to anyone else: ARMBAR is a single-player game.

3.5 What we do not collect

Our service providers (section 5) may process technical information that is needed to deliver their service, such as IP address and device type, under their own privacy policies.

4. Why we use it, and our legal grounds

We use the information above only to run the game: to sign you in, back up and restore your saves, deliver and restore purchases, prevent cheating and fraud, and answer you if you contact us.

Where laws such as the GDPR or UK GDPR apply, our legal grounds are: performing our agreement with you (accounts, saves, purchases), our legitimate interest in keeping the game secure and fair, and complying with legal obligations (for example, keeping purchase records).

5. Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers that run parts of the game for us, and only for that purpose:

Provider What for Their policy
Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore) Sign-in and cloud saves https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
RevenueCat Checking and restoring purchases https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy
Google Play Payments and app delivery https://policies.google.com/privacy

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our legal rights. We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.

6. Where it is stored

Our service providers store and process information on servers in the United States and other countries, which may be outside the country you live in. They apply their own safeguards for international transfers, described in the policies linked above.

7. How long we keep it

8. Deleting your account and data

Deleting your account does not cancel or refund purchases made through Google Play; purchase records held by Google Play and RevenueCat are kept as described in section 7.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict how it is used, and to complain to your local privacy regulator. In Australia that is the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

You can delete your account and everything stored with it yourself, from inside the game (section 8). For anything else, contact daviddinch@gmail.com. We will not treat you differently for using your rights.

10. Children

ARMBAR is intended for players aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. A parent or guardian can delete a child's account at any time from inside the game: the settings button at the top of the screen (the gear; a speaker in earlier versions) → Account & about → Delete account.

11. Security

Information is sent over encrypted connections, and access to accounts is controlled by Firebase Authentication. Saves are signed so that tampering can be detected. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that information will never be lost or accessed without permission.

12. Changes to this policy

When the game changes in a way that affects your privacy, we will update this policy, change the date at the top, and tell you in the game before the change takes effect where the law requires it.
